On our way to Taiyuan

After visiting the Llama temple, we checked out of our hotel and said good bye to Beijing.

We headed to the train station and hooked up with our friends.  We rode the high speed train over to Taiyuan at speeds up to 240 kmh, really cool.  And great scenery.  The mountains were really beautiful.  I have never been so far underground, we ran for 10 - 20 minutes at a time under mountain ranges at high speed.

Along the way we visited with Elsie, she really opened up and her little personality peaked out.  We got some smiles and even giggles.

After arriving in Taiyuan, we met our guide "Echo", she is very nice, we went out to dinner to celebrate our arrival and Anna's birthday.

When we got back to the hotel, there was a birthday cake waiting in our room!
