this eve

after nap time, we went for a walk along the river.  This gentleman was writing with water from the river on the sidewalk, really cool.

All families were out along the river and in the parks, it is just how the Chinese do it.  Many don't have or use their AC, so they go to the parks in the eve and let the kids run, and practice Tai Chi.

Everywhere we go, we are the spectacle, absolutely everyone looks, people walk up and pet Elsie's arm and gesture nicely.  When Echo is with us she interprets that they want to know if we adopted, and say how lucky the baby is and how beautiful she is.  It is very odd to be such the center of attention.
