Today we had orientation with all the other families, then went to the Forbidden City, this is where the Emporers once lived. Was really neat, except for the fifty thousand other people there, and the 95 degree heat! We made it most of the way through before bailing out and walking back to the hotel.
Stopped at a great little art shop along the way. Also had a nice conversation with a couple guys on holiday from Mongolia.
Tonight, off to a famous Beijing restaurant for duck in celebration of Anna's birthday tomorrow!
