Finally

hi everyone, This morning we got to meet Elsie, such a sweet baby. We spent half the day there. She let Anna feed her lunch, and lay her down for nap time. the staff at beautiful harbor was wonderful. Great to meet them. our friend Mei Lin is incredible, so helped us.

Yeah, we made it!

Well that was alot of flying... The Tokyo airport was cool, ever seen a solar powered  bobble head doll of a sumo wrester?  I am already regretting not buying one!  Also there, $6 showers, and private rooms for naps... if we only had more time. Got into Beijing late, taxi driver spoke 0 english, good thing our friend Mei Lin had hooked us up with text / directions to our hotel. Mei Lin picks us up at 8 to go meet Elsie, so off to bed we go.

Travel Plans

Busy day tomorrow... to Detroit, then Tokyo, then Beijing, then get up in the AM and head out to meet Elsie at her current home. Off to bed to try for some sleep... whew, finally packed!

Holy cow....

Leaving in the am... Just put Sylvie to bed, time to finish packing. It is getting pretty for real now! Gret dinner this eve with deb, Gary, manna, and Alex. Sam too!

Yea, time to travel soon!

We get to leave on Monday morning... will get to ride the train to Taiyuan with Elsie on 7/4 for Anna's birthday! Then... Gotcha day, July 5th! Soo excited!

Travel

We have travel dates! Departing St. Louis June 28th (2 weeks away) and returning July 16th! WOW!

TA - Off to China (almost)

We received our TA last night - no travel dates yet, but our agency is predicting late June, early July for travel. Elsie is just starting to walk.
